My ultimate goat WOD. The DL and BP as rx'd are near or at my 1RM, so I've always got to scale this bitch. I did it today at about 75% of rx, which meant:
DL 255 (120% of BW) BP 155 (75%) SC 115 (55%)
I limped in at 38:25. A year ago I did Linda at the same weights and made 38:30, so I guess that makes this a PR of sorts. But it sure didn't feel like it. It was also my 5th straight WOD day, tank is EMPTY.
Linda was always the hardest one for me, back in the day when my barbell didn't have spider webs on it. Today (Saturday) I am in between two killer mountain bike rides, so I wanted a quickie that didn't have pushing since I am still really sore from last cycle. So I did Helen with 400M rowing subs. I'd rather run! Rowing, KBS, and Pullups = forearm and grip hell... which is why I did it of course. Only a CrossFitter would understand. TT 10:58. Rested too much in between sets and during pullups I rested too.... a little. Sweaty as hell though. Tomorrow's mtn bike ride is among my faves, "Lair of the Bair", it's 2+ hours, fun and scenic, with plenty of heart pounding and leg burning climbs to boot.
