Fight Gone Bad!

After doing the workout for the first time, UFC MMA Legend BJ Penn (whom coach desiged the WOD for) said "That was like a fight gone bad!".... and hence the name. Who's going to do "Championship Edition"... 5 rounds? Not me. Today is both of my kids' birthday parties and tomorrow I am going for a 6AM mountain bike ride.

  1. I did this one after a warm-up mile and the minutes of pull-ups WOD, then a 10 minute rest. I did a bit of a sub for the rowing on this one.

    3 rounds of:

    Wall-Balls
    95# SDLHP
    Box Jumps
    95# Push Press
    55# db KB swings

    74, 78, 77 - total = 225

    I didn't realize that the workout calls for 75 pounds until after I was done and re-read what I had written on my hand. Either way, I'm happy with it. Felt good to get some work in over the weekend. Later fellas.

  2. Finally made this one up. As always I subbed 1pd kb thrusters for WB, all else as rx'd.

    Rd 1: 37-27-18-20-14=116
    Rd 2: 30-20-17-22-12=101
    Rd 3: 32-18-15-20-14=99

    Total = 316

    On a strict clock this time.
