KELLY

  1. 28:55 monster PMFR by almost five minutes. Going to have to attribute a big chunk of that to Mr. Starret and his mobility wod. Thanks again to Myles for steering me in that direction.

  2. Hell s yeah Justin. I have had amazing results from his blog. I do his stuff at least 3x a day. We program it in to pretty much every class Travis and I teach. Today just pr'd on my 1 rep shoulder press 190 bodyweight is 180sh.

  3. Today was the first day where I felt like I had some energy going into the 3rd and 4th rounds. 5th round was just pushing to the finish as usual. I didn't think that they'd like me dragging one of the metal boxes out onto the gym floor, so I used the med ball to jump over side-to-side instead of box jumps.

    TT - 33:31

Way less sore this week than last. Feels good to be back! Later fellas.

  4. I got home this afternoon and it was so perfect outside - ultimate fall preview day - that I decided to give my elbow & back a rest and just went out for a run. I didn't push too hard, just enjoyed myself & the weather. I ended up running one of my 5K loops in around 29mins. Maybe make up Kelly tomorrow.

  5. Hey dudes. Way to go on the WOD here, this is a tough one. Justin, HUGE PMFR. I need to look at that mobility WOD. Is it one WOD, a daily WOD, or what?

This morning I got more attention in the hotel room WOD because I was swinging a dumbbell and grunting a lot. Dudes are like "what?"

    4 rounds of
20 back extensions holding 45 lb dumbbell on chest, ass again the wall, knees slightly bent
    30 45 lb dumbbell swings
    40 butterfly situps

20 minutes and change. Sweat pool galore. Sweat pools in small hotel gyms are not the norm.

If you want to change your life take an hour tonight and review each day's video. He has done a new video each day for about 10 days now. The stuff works wonders

  8. I did some mobility WOD moves before this WOD, gonna do more later, that feels good! Thanks guys.

I did Kelly but subbed 500M rowing over the 400M running. I did row hard though, it wasn't vacation time. The hardest part was the transition between the rowing and BJ's cos I was suffocating! TT 25:58, PR by two minutes but can't really compare cos prior PR was a sub of 150 single unders/round. Rowing takes more out of you, so I would call this a big time PR! Rounds 1, 4, and 5 of wall balls were unbroken. The last two rounds almost broke my will but I've really been learning my limits lately and knowing how hard I can push. I'm sure the profuse mountain biking has also really been helping.

Great to see the blog going strong. I get all of the posts in my hotmail inbox. If anyone wants the same treatment I can set that up.
