Do stuff fifty times for time

For time:
20 inch Box jump, 50 reps
Rope climb, 5 ascents
1.5 pood Kettlebell swing, 50 reps
50 sit-ups
40 pound dumbbell Hang power clean, 50 reps
800 meter Run
50 Back extensions

  1. Banged this one out this am so I can be free for UConn-Louisville at noon today then lax practice for the kid after. Couple of subs: I did 50 jumping PUs for the rope climbs and a 1K row for the run.

    Word to the wise - The row is a BAD sub for the run in this WOD. My arms and shoulders were gone after the JPU/KB/HPC sets. No finish. Not an excuse, I'm just sayin'. Hit it boys.

  2. Needed a partial day off, so was doing deadhang minutes of pullups. I got to round seven and thought I should start kipping when I fail. Got round ten done then round eleven took more than a minute so started kipping on the next minute. Figured a round or two of kipping would be plenty, then some random guy walked in to the gym and said what are you doing going for a record? I found my mojo as I thought of course I'm going for a record why the fuck else would I do this?? So instead of quitting I pounded it out for seventeen rounds and then twelve. Pretty good for doing the first eleven rounds deadhang. I guess you never know where you might find motivation.

  3. Tough Chipper today. I subbed 50 jumping PU's for rope climbs as well. The run was outside and it was extremely hard for me to keep going after the DB HPC's. My ears were ringing and my nose was running when it came time for the back extensions. The change in temperature hit me hard. I was glad when this one was over.

    Enough complaining.

  5. Taking today off. I am super sore... strangely, it must be from that hotel room WOD I did, my legs are a mess! I'll hit this one up tomorrow. I'm gonna do it RX'd except the rope climbs are legless from ass to 9' which I am guessing is as hard as 15' using legs since those guys jump off the ground and their first pull is from like 8' and they get to use their legs? Legless from ass is a real bitch. Also those shorter ropes like the one I got are not very expensive from Rogue.

  6. I felt strong and wild this morning. TT 17:01

    Did 9' legless rope climbs from ass (THOSE ARE SO HARD!!!) and also rowed 1K instead of running. CHas I agree, that sucked. I could barely hold onto the rowing handle for the first 300M my forearms, shoulders, and hands were like numb from everything else. Had 15:30 going into BE's, tried like hell to fly through those unbroken but it was too painful. Had to do them in 3 sets. Party is at my house!
