A whole lotta stuff Fletcher can't do the past two days. I went back and made up the Open Games round 1 WOD and sucked it. I am just not good at DU's. 3 rounds + 30 single unders (switched to SU's in the 4th round out of frustration). The only way to nail DU's is to practice them, and I just don't have time for hardly anything lately.
ReplyDeleteThen I rested 7 minutes and did the FS/rope climb WOD. TT 8:47. Scaled FS to 115, rope climbs legless to 9' from ass. Rope climbs and DU's have one thing in common: They are hard to sub for. There's just nothing really like climbing a rope.
Oh, and I had a poker party Friday night during which my very large buddy Ken wanted to arm wrestle... so I took him up on it. He was pushing hard and I was just holding him level (not very hard), then when I tried to push him over something snapped audibly in my elbow. I have been feeling that ever since but it isn't too bad... I was climbing rope today after all.

I did this one today, but messed up. I thought this was 15 reps of C&J's, not 21. So, I was 12 reps short of doing this as Rx'ed. Anyway,

Did all the running without any walking, so I was happy with that. It was still slow, but no walking. Also, C&J's were really difficult too. Don't know why, but couldn't string more than 3 at a time together. Oh well, got this grinder done. Later fellas.
