Heavy Squats

4 comments:

  1. Wodoers: Realized I have been doing math wrong. My bumpers actually weight 305 on the bar not 300, so I have been lifting a little more than I thought.

    Squats: 135x5,185x5,225x5,265x3,285x3,320x2
    Fsquats: 225x3,255x3,285x2,320x1 oly depth PR!
    Osquats: 135x2,135x5,155x5,185x0,185x2,210x1 PR!

  2. OHS: 95-115-135-145(PR)-150(PR)
    FS: 155-175-185-205-225(PR)
    BS: 225-235-245-255-265

I haven't done heavy squats in awhile so I was real happy with my numbers today. I think my PR on the Back Squat is 280, so off the mark just a little. Good day today.

  3. It might be just me, but it seems like the CF mainsite programming has much less strength bias than it did when I started a couple of years ago. Granted I haven't been as disciplined (diet as well as hitting each WOD) as I was then, but that's just the way it feels. I'm starting to wonder if I need to plug in some more heavy lifts.

Anyway, and not really related to the above, no PRs today except for OHS. Justin, your posts lately made me think a lot about depth, and I made sure to really go deep on each lift today. I ended up pulling off weights at the end of both FS and BS.

    OHS 95-115-125-135-155PR
    FS 165-185-205-205-185 (pr is 225)
    BS 205-215-225-235-205 (pr is 260)

  4. I did this one last week, but just haven't posted it yet.

    OHS: 95, 115, 135, 155, 165
    FS: 175, 185, 195, 205, 215
    BS: 225, 265, 275, 295, 315

Couldn't get my joints to loosen up. Back squats felt especially tough on the knees for some reason.
