Yo dudes! Justin, I think you did some nice work here. 6 rounds is no joke. Today my buddy Heath met me and we went back and did that swimming pushups WOD. The WOD called for 5 rounds of swim 50 meters and 25 pushups. We did 6 rounds of swim 60 meters and 25 pushups. 16:45. It was killer.. one of the more fun WODs I've done. There's something special about swimming furiously in your backyard at 6:45 AM. Heath got spanked here, swimming is not his strong suit, nor are pushups! I think tomorrow I am going to make up the chipper from the Games, then I will do this WOD this weekend. My chest and shoulders are spanked from swim/PU, need the chest and shoulders to recover some so I can live up to Justinius the Strong's expectations.
I made this one up today - I had a rough week and haven't gotten anything in since that bitch of a 100s WOD on Monday. I did 10 tuck PUs/round for the climbs, and 1pd KB tosses for the WBs.
I didn't quite deliver on 7.5, but I did 7.25. Got 7 full rounds + rope climb at the buzzer. First two rounds were 2 minutes. I wasn't myself... was out playing poker til 2AM, which of course means tequila. Nothing too crazy, but enough to hurt me on the WOD for sure. That, and of course my kids woke me up after 5 hours of sleep. "Short" looks very very long. I'll take that on tomorrow... with 400M runs instead of 800M. 800M causes my knee to look like a cantaloupe. 50 burpees per round? Is that a typo?
I wasn't nearly as good as either of you two on this one. I used the 3:1 sub on ring dips and did 15 PU's instead of rope climbs. Only got 3 rounds complete just under the timer. 30 dips per round really slowed me down.
Can't wait to be done with school, and get a job so that I can start buying some stuff and maybe start my own garage gym like you all. Anyway, later fellas.

Ran two miles then hit todays wod. It is a great wod but the ring dips slowed me down. I subbed legless ass to ceiling climbs.
6 rounds on the button. I expect 7.5 from Fletcher a/k/a the Lord of the Rings.

ReplyDeleteFirst two rounds were done in 3 minutes combined... typo. At that pace, I thought I was going to crush this, but it caught up to me fast.
