Snatch a minute for 15 Minutes

  1. Used the FatGripz for the snatches. That is a whole different world. My forearms are tingling while I write.

    The last three got at 115 pounds were incredible ugly.

    My lats are on fire from the deadlifts with the grips, think there must be somethin to it for sure.

  2. Justin keep using the FatGripz. Then I can pretend that I'm almost as strong as you.

    95-115 throughout. I messed up and thought this was for 20mins, so I got a few extra in there. It basically worked as a pyramid, I started @95 then worked up to 115. It got messy there so then back to 95 again for the last 6 (of 20).

  3. Did this one yesterday afternoon. Even though I was pretty sore from the Jump rope/DL/Push-up WOD, I felt surprisingly good yesterday. My form felt especially strong and I think I even set a PR for myself.

    115, 115, 125, 125, 130, 130, 135, 135, 140(PR), 140, 140f, 135, 135, 135, 135

    My form with 140 even felt good which was really shocked me. I just tried to focus on keeping steady consistent movement for the dead lift portion of the lift, then to explode when the bar reached the "hang clean" position just above my knees. Then the squat and catch were just kind of natural. Also tried to focus on keeping my feet in contact with the ground at all times.
