Deadlift 5x5

  2. Hi Justin, we have a two man blog now. Should we just start emailing each other? I might recruit another member or two. Chris I know you are out there. Did you get your rower?

    WODoer(s).... Instead of this, I did a WOD my lovely wife suggested with my buddy Mike. It was awful.

    Descending/Ascending burpee/KBS ladder with 45 lb KB.

    18/1, 17/2, 16/3, etc... .down to 1/18. Burpees then KBS.

    My buddy Mike is a triathlete, really strong cardio... he was in front through about the round of 12/7 then I went out ahead slowly but surely. Just held a steady pace.

    TT 25:12, Mike 26:30. Highly unreccomended.

  4. I don't like to do a lot of DL's, but I felt pretty good to try this WOD today.
    The last time I did some "heavy" deads, I tweaked my back and caused spasms that lasted a few days. My back overall was tweaked for a few weeks so I started thsi one out lighter and moved gradually.
    The weight isn't eye popping, but no issues!
    135, 155, 175, 185, 185.
    I stopped at 185 and did that twice. I hadn't Dl'd anything close to that weight in over a year.
    Ran 2 miles after. Yay!
