"Health Lift" 5x3

  1. I don't really have enough weight to do this one proper so I did a mini Westside speed day(dl only) combined with some box jumps.

    10 Rounds
    2-265#Sumo DL (focus on speed of bar)
    3-30" Box Jumps
    Rest 45 seconds repeat

    It was good. I maintained bar speed through out. I think could maybe move the rest down to 35 or 40 seconds next time and still not lose any speed on the bar.

  2. Nice post. Good reminder of the ol' term "health lift"... I took this morning off, had to get in to work early. Feeling a cold coming on (neat) but hopefully it will go away. My legs are shot from flying through "Sean" as hard as I could.

    Today's WOD looks impossible unless you are very good at DU's. I am goign to scale that to say... 12 DUs/minute otherwise I would not be able to do that one. Also gonna do presses instead of 75 freaking HSPUs. That would ruin my shoulder by rep 30 or so
