5 RFT 20 Strict Ring Dips & 14 135# Thrusters

  1. I tore apart the shelves in my garage to put up some new ones and a work bench. So I rowed today.
    2k row for time.

    Gives me an idea for where to begin this year.

    Also, they announced that the South East Regionals will be in Jacksonville this year. Depending on pricing and time off work I might go and watch.

  2. Wow man, doing this RX'd would be one helluva feat. I scaled the thrusters to 115 and did 20 ring dips instead of 14 STRICT. I did the first round strict and it took forever, and I had several redo/no-reps. I knew I didn't have the power to do the ring dips RX'd. 19:59 as described (I finished round 1 with 14 strict and 6 kipping, having decided that I had to go to kipping RD's).

    Warm up was a 1K row in 3:40, cool down was 100 situps for time @ 2:53. Gotta lose 10 pounds this month to get back to fighting weight!
