Front Squat 1-1-1-1-1


Here's how I babysit while I do front squats. My little 10 month old buddy "Max" cheers on his daddy. But his daddy is nowhere nearly as strong as Justin. He sat there the whole time I did all those front squats, GHDs, and BE's, like 30 minutes. Good boy Max!

    Getting better at the form on this one. No pain at all today in the wrists, and no girly straps on the wrists :-).

    265,285pr,305pr,310 no,310 push me down into the catch bars and I stay there. Getting stronger.

  3. Justin great job today. Took your advice Craig and had my elbows up and the bar up against my throat. It helped alot, not hardly as much pain in the wrists as before. I was doing this before but I think my grip was too wide, causing my arms to flare out.

  5. Nice work everyone, Justin, you are getting really really strong.

    Weighed in at 211 today butt naked, lightest I've been in years, maybe since high school? Also seeing some encouraging muscle definition, ab muscles and lines and shit going all around. Getting into the Paleo way of eating and much less booze. For the whole week I've had 1 cocktail, 1 glass of wine, and 2 light beers. That's like a miracle for me.

    Did lots of work today

    Front Squat (first time doing 1RM, goal was 250)
    135x5-205-215-230-250(f)-240-250(PR)-265(f)-barx20 for cool down
    First failure at 250 was mental, got down ass below knees and kind of freaked out under the load. I know I can do more than 250 on a good day, I was tired today. Didn't try too hard on 265, I was spent.

    Then, to punish such a puss PR, I did 5 rounds of
    20 GHD situps and 10 back extensions (not hip extensions, snaking back extensions)

    Also mountain biked big time last night, burned a good 1,500 calories doing that too. I am wiped. Bring on the rest day!! CrossFit kicks ass. I love this blog. I write too much.

  6. Damn you strong dudes, Justin, Fletcher and Smoreywy, awesome squating guys. I think I need to start taking some beaver tranqualizers or something to up my lifts to be on par with you guys.
