Overhead Squat 3-3-3-3-3

  1. WODoers: Lots of improvement here for me.

95x5,115x5,135x3,155x3pr,175x2,185x1 1 rep pr, 205x1 not quite full range of motion but close so no pr.

    then 155x7

These are fun, we should do them more often. I think going for a 1 rep max would be a good full body warm up for most WODs.

  3. Jacob - you're too much. I don't know what else to say. Better to be addicted to WOD's than crystal meth or Bud Light.

My back strain scared me away from this WOD for now, I did some light OHS's, and then had a buddy over who had never done CrossFit, but in talking with me about it, he wanted to try it out, wants to build up a garage gym, etc. So I explained the philosophy, showed him the gear, and then we did:

    CFWU x2 + 400M run

    Three rounds:

    20 wall ball
run 400 feet (up and down driveway twice)
    15 KB swings
    20 honest pushups

TT for me = 9 Mins

Joe, my friend, DNF. He almost did, about 11:30 10 pushups to go but he said he was feeling sick and had the shakes. We went to lunch after and he feels fine now and is fired up about CF. He couldn't believe how spanked he got in under 12 minutes.

I swung a tiny (and new, for wife) 12KG KB cos' of my back. I let Joe swing the 1 pood. First time he'd ever seen a KB. My back feels 85% better though, I just don't want to mess it up before I have to travel 15 hours to Belgium Tuesday morning. The hotel has no gym, but we don't need a gym do we boys. Burpees, squats, lunges, chair dips, situps, run, I'll get it done while I am out there one way or the other.

  5. Nice numbers guys. I was a little more conservative because I can't real bail on the weight if need be. Which kind of sucks, but oh well.

    95x5,115x5,135x3,145x3,150x3(pr)
