  1. WODoers:

I was actually 2 seconds slower than the last time I did this...

    (6:54)(8:10)(7:18)=22:23

...but this time it was with the 20# vest. Now that I have the vest, I am truly frightened of Murph.

  2. Subbed SDHP's for rowing and burpees just plain suck.

TT: 18:54(pr), last time 22 minutes flat.

Tomorrow should be interesting because I was sore from the SDHP's from FGB. What's wrong with another 150 of them today?

  3. 18:48 RX’d (Yes, I ran)

Been drinking too much alcohol and eating like poo a lot of the time this past week with family in town…. So felt groggy this morning. Did 100 pushups after the WOD to punish the poor nutrition, CFWUx2 beforehand too, so it was a very sweaty morning. The L pullup WOD for tomorrow sounds hardcore. I have no rope, so I think I'll do something like:

    3 rounds
    21 L Pullups
    15 GHD situps
    15 dead hang pullups

That ought to do it? Good enough for me anyway

  4. ... and Justin, I am afraid to get a vest. Holy moly, that must make a big difference during those damn burpees. Yikes. Also, my wife did this one RX'd in 22:30, she said she did all sets of burpees unbroken (I cannot say the same, 2 or 3 quick "5 breath breaks" every round during burpees). She runs really slow (knees, like me) and she's pretty small, so rowing slows her down. I ran the first 400M in like 2:30, but the last one I ran hard, like 1:50. Hope my knee doesn't puff up. With these short distances I am usually OK....

  6. CrossFit Avalanche needs to borrow a GPS from someone so you can mark the distances! Myles, Weave, I have had dreams two nights in a row about FGB and this WOD, and I was doing them at your gym, but your gym in my dream-brain has a disco, a sandwich shop, and a bunch of video games, and you and Myles sit around on bean bags and get stoned before you train people. Is that how it really is?
