Rest Day or

If you are going goose hunting for the weekend then

1 Muscle up 1 squat
1 Muscle up 2 squat
1 Muscle up 3 squat

continue on until 1 muscle up 30 squat

  1. Myles: Way to go! Makes my pr feel weak.

WODoers: This was a lot of squats! The consequences of doing this WOD may not be known for a while. TT= 23:25 Next time I may go up to twenty squats and then count back down for one a total of 40 muscle ups and about a hundred less squats. The muscle ups were definitely easy with all the rest, upper body rest, at the end.

In relation to the interesting discussion about whether the WOD can win the games, watch the journal video on wall ball squat wod at the games and see what Mikko says about how he prepared for the games.

  2. Myles you are one strong boy. Justin, cool WOD!

Dudes, I'm gonna be 38 tomorrow and I feel fitter than ever. So cool. I wish I could lift heavy right now. We'll see what comes up on the site tomorrow, if it's something I can't do then I will do the 4 rounds of 400M run and 50 squats. That shouldn't bother the "roid" so much just doing air squats, but this one always makes my legs ache and burn big time... that's the effect I am going for. I wanted to do BW back squat 50 reps, every set break = 10 burpees, but I think that will bother the roidage.

  3. Thanks guys. Yeah Justin, I agree with you on the .com wods being enough. I do supplement things by adding either a strength workout or an endurance wod. I wont start doing more than 2 a day until like 4 weeks out. I also rest hard on my rest days, and stretch a shit load and eat as good as I can. I feel I am at my strongest when I follow the .com wods. Happy birthday Fletcher. It is awesome to hear you are in that good of shape. This stuff works no doubt. Also sorry about the roid, I can only imagine.
    Peace out
    Myles
