Rope climbs, ring dips, squats

Three rounds for time of:
5 Ascents of a 15' rope
21 Ring dips
50 Squats

  1. Hey guys. I did 250 squats fast yesterday, ran, and did a ton of jump rope. Suffice to say, my legs are good and sore today. So I opted out of this one cos of the squats and ring dips (shoulder bugging me still from HSPU's the other day).

    Also have to admit to feeling a little hungover from birthday beverages last night.

    So I did 10 rounds for time of:

    Wearing 30 pounds weight vest
    5 pullups
    10 pushups

    TT = 11 minutes. I should have done AMRAP in 20 minutes but I wussed out, shoulder aching. I don't want to get it like it was earlier this year.

    That 30 lbs starts to feel like another person. I am still wearing the vest, I think I'll wear it around the house today.

  2. No rope climbs for me today and I didn't feel like doing 225 towel pullups so I subbed with Chest to bar pullups. I'm not feeling all that great today because I've got a cold, but I sucked it up and did the WOD. Enough whining

  3. Subbed 15 ass-to-standing-to-ass rope climbs for the 15' ascents. Otherwise as Rx'ed.

    First time with ring dips today with the newly discovered rings in the "MMA" room. Finding my balance point wsa the toughest part. Otherwise, I kind of liked them more than normal dips. But, in no way are they worth a 3:1 sub. Later fellas.
