SPUP/HSPNTG

    Pullups as rx'd on rings.
    HSPs poor ROM, but did touch hair on the last three, ROM improved through out the wod.

  2. So I did this while Travis was teaching the class. I had to pause a few times to help a few people. I liked the nose to floor ROM it was new and difficult.

  3. Fine work gentlemen! Glad to be back in the saddle. I finally did a WOD after 6 days.

    Went out of town snowboarding for a few days. As usual, I probably mentioned that 3 times already.

    I did some subbing here. I was concerned that 84 HSPU's would give me an ailing left shoulder, every time I do one I hear this sqishy sound and it aches.

    Pullups were RX'd on the bar, 84 strict pullups takes me a damn long time! Got to where I was barely able to do two unbroken towards the end. I haven't done pullups in a week, but CrossFit will set me back straight!

    For the HSPU's, I did half of the reps HSPU to AbMat (not full ROM, two inches or so short of it, and I know that makes a big difference) and then I did the other half of the reps as ring dips, which are my goat so I was glad to get some ring dip practice.

    Not a ton of metcon here, lots of muscle recovery waiting around actually. Tough stuff!

  5. Not that I'm great a kipping pullups, but I forgot how much strict pullups suck. Especially 84 of them. HSPU's were not full ROM, I used the ABMat and touched the top of my head each rep.

  6. That one was tough. Somebody has recently left their rings in the "MMA" room, so Mike Jones decided to try ring pull-ups today. So, PU's were I guess kipping ring pull-ups. Tried to get chin above hands on each rep. HSPU's were terrible form, 3/4 ROM at best.

  7. Got this done this morning. FROM (hair touching floor and I have short hair) on the HSPU but could only get through the first 2 rounds. Had to switch over to 115# shoulder press then to push press as a sub. Took me about 50 minutes to complete this, wow. went like this:

    21 PU
    21 HSPU
    18 PU
    18 HSPU (fuck!)
    15 PU
    15 115# shoulder press
    12 PU
    12 115# 10 SP + 2 push press
    9 PU
    9 115# 2 SP + 7 PP
    6 PU
    6 115# 6 PP

    When was the last time we did this??
