  1. I meant to wish you a happy birthday Craig but it slipped my mind in my old age. 38 is the new 28! Feels good to be this old and feel this good. There is this guy here who is also 38 or 39 and he looks 48. How come I can't paste into the blog anymore when making a new posting?

Ran this today on the treadmill. I think the best way to keep track of distance is to do this on a track.

  2. I think the blog is shut down, but somehow we are still using it. None of the comments are recorded after a couple of weeks and when I go to log on it says that the blog does not exists. Craig maybe you have a decent IT guy at your office you could talk to about it.

    Nice work all! Sweet prs.

  3. Hey guys. The blog is working fine for me, usually... as far as general functionality goes... but I can't figure out why the old comments go away. I did some google searches and whatnot, checked the settings, etc. It seems that it just happens.

I checked a friend's blog (also a "blogger" blog) and his comments from 3 years ago are still there. I'll do more checking around, or maybe Chris can too.

Morey, that picture is cool. use of deadly force is authorized! My rower is aware of this policy.

I have to be honest guys. Lately, for the first time, I am having motivation problems. I think it's because I am so often hurt or sick. I see all these cool WOD's come up and I'm like "I can't do that one either" cos if I do I'll have worse problems. This damn roid is going on week 5 and my shoulder seems like it will always have problems if I push it hard. Talked to a buddy of mine at work and he had a roid that got to the size of a golfball and he had to go in for emergency surgery. He couldn't even walk and he definitely couldn't poop. Fun stuff.

Nonetheless, I crushed myself today using one lethal weapon: THE ROWER. I don't know of many things harder than rowing your ass off.

I set out to PR the 5K row. I think I've only rowed 5K a few times. My PR is an unimpressive 19:09. I know I could do this in 18:30, but the problem is finishing. Today I got 3K done in 11:20 and had to stop, totally nauseated. If I could have kept pace I would have finished in 18:50 something. So I rested for 5 minutes, then figured I'd do a couple of 500M sprints. First sprint I tried to do with damper on 10, I DNF'd again. Held a 1:34 pace through 350M then felt really pukey again. Rested 3 minutes, then went at it again with damper on 5. Got 1:40. Not very fast, but I was just whooped. Damn that rower beats you down good.

  4. I may have fixed the blog. I am seeing old comments now. Let me know guys. Also, I can configure it so that you get emailed with new posts or comments. Let me know if that interests you. Chris and I have that enabled for ourselves and we like it.... but I have OCD so maybe I'm just weird.

  5. This was a fun one. I did it jumping rope instead of running. On the way down I did all singles. Then, on the way back up, I alternated rounds of doubles and singles. Rounds of singles averaged about 130 +/- 10, and rounds of doubles averaged about 50 +/- 5.

    Late.
