WODoers: I needed to get some running in today for the halfer, so I did what I will call 20/200/<20 or negative split hell. Run 20 minutes at good pace for yourself, do 200 body squats as fast as possible then run back in less than 20 minutes. Measured my distance afterword, it was 2.2 miles.
20:06 out first 100 3:21 second 100 4:25 run back in 18:12
Wish I had a video of the first hundred yards of trying to run after those squats.:)
The EDT late night rider rides first today! Kudos to coach for another cool new WOD.
Ummmm... yah. L-Sits are not my strength, especially if you are stricy about locking your knees (which I found possible only sometimes). In round 3 I did one 10 second increment, then 5's and a couple of 3's even. I need a mouthpiece for those cos I started to grind my teeth pretty good. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Did the L-Sit's on parallettes. Haven't done those butterfly style situps before, those were cool. Put a $5 thermometer from the ol' Ace Hardware out there in the garage. It was not bad this evening, 78 degrees.
TT = 23:32. Not that far off Chazzles. Hamstrings need some stretching, and a Mike's Harder Lemonade is calling for me from the garage fridge. Hey, you have to restore the depleted glycogen, it's crucial to a good training regimen!
Damn, I still have 20 minutes of PT round 2 to do at some point.
This one was a lot tougher tonight than it was last night when I was just reading it. The sit-ups were definitely my limiting factor tonight. For the L-sits, I hung from a pull-up bar trying to keep my feet straight out. I was hardly able to do this as Fletch says. Otherwise, as Rx'ed.
TT = 21:40
My legs are definitely glad for the night off tonight and tomorrow after doing the running/squats WOD, 5x5 squats, and Fran in consecutive nights. Later fellas.

So I'm the guinea pig, eh? Okay then. As rx'd.

I'm guessing that'll be the long for this group. L-sits were tough, I've never really done them before and they were totally broken from round 1.
Planning to make up Fran on rest day tomorrow.
