  1. I hang my rings from my PU bar, which broke (haven't gotten to Home Depot to get the right equip to rebuild), so I did regular dips. Else as rx'd, although ROM got a little compromised by set 3 of HSPUs.

    TT = 10:50

    I know it's apples to oranges, but last time I made 16:10, so I'll take it. That makes a six-day cycle for me so time to relax & recover...

    Cheers guys

  2. Hey Chazzles, niec work! It's more apples to apples if you sub 3:1 dips, or so the FAQ says. I think RD's are about triple the effort of a stationary dip maybe?

    Today Chelle and I did a husband and wife WOD with the metal cranking! I love these moments.

    She did the 4 rounds of 50 squats and 400M run, and I did it with sub of 500M row. I would much rather run. I can run faster and with less effort.

    Anyway, TT Craig 14:26 TT Chelle 14:47. She said after she thought it was 5 rounds so she was saving herself. Next time she vows to smash it. My squats were lame, legs were already shot from Karen yesterday. I hadn't squatted in about two weeks til then. Yowzers!

    Check this out. Right after that WOD Chelle was going for a PR on a wall sit (she kills those), previous PR was 6 minutes (what?!!?). Today she did 7:11 wall sit IMMEDIATELY after the WOD. She's got one strong bootie fellas. She said "I might have a bubble butt but it's one strong bubble!" Yeppers. It's all that mountain biking. I got a new mtn bike frame and forks are on the way. Starting the build right now out in the beautiful 80 degree weather.

    Another way too long Fletcher post that no one cares about. Why do I do it?

  3. WODoers: Ran 9.3 miles in 90 minutes. It was slightly less than the pace I need for the 1/2 marathon, but it was windy(into me both ways, that can happen round here when you run far enough) snowy, rainy, and muddy, so not too disapointed in my pace.

  4. Gentlemen of the Buttocks:

    Did this one in March of last year in 22:45 with head to abmat HSPU's... this was 10 weeks into the life of CrossFit.

    Today I wanted to compare apples to apples so I did head to AbMat about (I realize those last two inches means these are like 1/2 as hard but my shoulder's been popping lately too).

    TT = 12:49

    I guess I got a little bit stronger and fitter in the last 14 months? Stoked on that.

    See ya guys. Rest day tomorrow. We opened our pool yesterday and we've already swam three times. Yahoo!

  5. Oh... and the HSPU's were still by far the limiting factor. A lot of time waiting for my muskells to be able to continue those. last 20 or so of those were 1 at a time. I just suck at em. Something to work on eh? Won't hurt the back so I'll be pounding those out. Just like ring dips used to be my goat and now I can do em a whole lot better than a year ago.

  6. Yeah, Fletcher, I guess I should have upped the subs, but I wanted to just pound it out quick before heading out to lunch. Likely excuse I know.

    So I hit the Home Depot today to replace my pullup bar. I picked up piping, ells, flanges etc. Tomorrow's project.

  7. Well, still a bit late on this one, but will be caught up after I do squats here in a bit. The shoulders and tris really gave out in a hurry. I thought push-ups were even hard tonight.

    TT = 22:02

    On to squats.

  8. Had to skip this one, HSPU's + Ring Dips = No fucking way with my shoulder

    HSPU's aren't so bad, but I can't do a single ring dip without severe pain. So I played around in the gym with the jump rope, kettlebell and plyo box.
