    I was wondering what you guys thought about the US flag dewrag in the mainsite video. Seems to be a blatant violation of the Flag Code. I am interested to hear the opinion of veterans like Chris.

    d.The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker's desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.

    j.No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart.

  2. Justin, I agree wholeheartedly with you on that. Unfortunately you see alot of this shirts, pants, hats etc.. I get what he's trying to honor, but do it a different way.

    I had nothing in the tank for this WOD today. Super slow and it spanked me pretty good for some reason. I guess that's what I get for taking a couple weeks off. Feeling it big time.

  3. Hey guys - awesome work. Where is Mikey, Chas, Dave, and Wy? Well I know where Wy is, he tweaked his ankle.

    I was hungover yesterday.. went to a show and stayed out with pals drinking til 3AM and woke at 8, so no WOD yesterday.. I just tried to make it through the day, I had a lot going on.

    I scaled the push presses to 115 lbs because Hidalgo put my lower back in some pain. Otherwise RX'd and I left everything in the gym.

    10 rounds + 10 pullups + 5 DL's with 1 second left. Great WOD. So thankful for the heroes.

  4. By the way, first two rounds in 2:10, done with round 3 by 4:05. Came out really fast... didn't pace correctly I guess because I slowed waaaay down.

    Also, Dumbbell DL's were from the floor all reps. That's the way they did it on the video.

  5. Ok, I finally made it back. I tested my ankle w/a 2 mile run before this WOD. Not too bad as I finished under 20 minutes. December was a horrible month for any workout consistancy for me. Illness, injury, family and work all made it a rough month to keep up any type of endurance. I also gained a few LBs! Anyway, since I tweaked the back (and the gym was crowded w/resolutionists and kids on break) I couldn't do DL's. So, I improvised and did center squats w/a 75# weight @10 reps. Everything else as RX'd
    Total sets -8. Not happy, but I had 0 endurance. I started fast and had nothing in the last 10 minutes. Oh well, it was good to get back in and have no physical issues. Slaint
