  1. For some reason I missed this the last time around. Had to do some subbing on this. No 24" box, only a 20" and I could only manage 1/2 the weighted pullups, I did the rest of them dead hang.

    TT: 24:35

Legs are killing me from the last couple WOD's and that nasty run burpees shit.

    Peace out fellas

  2. Box jumps were on a 28"-ish box. Got stopped in the middle of my second round for a bit. Lunges snuck up on me again like they always do. PU's unweighted (except for the weight I've put on since returning to the US).

    TT - 34:15

Looking forward to the start of the NFL tomorrow. Taking a premature day off. Later fellas,

    Mike

  3. Stacked them damn Reebok steps again but even higher today. Scary! Was like 20-22 inches. Pull ups were killing me as per usual. No weight on the last round of pull ups.

Starting the Zone today for a few weeks to see what that is all about. Would like to get back down to about 205#, 215# right now.

  4. I can assure you that Travis and I have been working out. We have been doing things a little differently around our gym. We had the busiest day yet with 44 people coming in for a workout. One class had 15 people. We have our hands totally full and we are adding more classes. Our target of 65 members is so close. Today we now have 52 paying members. Also trying to focus on ourselves as you can imagine can be tough. We are trying, you guys just keep doing the damn thing to keep us motivated. Peace out, Myles

  5. Sounds like things are going very well for you guys! Keep up the hard work. I don't think you guys have much too worry about as far as us getting it taken care of on our part. Congratulations on your successful gym!!

  6. Congrats Myles and Travis! Now that the kids are back in school hopefully parents will show up! Run a "back to school" ad for parents!!
    Cheers...sean

Oh Yea...no bumbells so I took some webbing and ran it through 25# and 5# plates, made hero loops and "carried" them. Kind of a cheat as the loops hang on the wrist so there isn't much grip involved. 22:43

  7. Sean posted!! Sean posted!! Yaaahhhh!!!

CrossFit Avalanche is rocking! That is awesome!! You guys deserve it, you've worked hard to get here. Congrats big time fellas.

Dudes - I subbed 20 lb weighted pullups, but in hindsight I think I could have done 30 lb ones, I got scared boys. TT = 21:50. I wore gloves because they match my purse.

Those lunges messed with my ability to jump big time, it was like my legs disappeared, so many of my box jumps were actually step ups. Step ups also matched my purse. Good WOD! Tomorrow I shall rest because Saturday is the mother of this summer's mtn bike rides. It's a 4-5 hour ride, tons of climbing, gets up above timberline, blah blah blah. It's a nasty one, but beautiful at the same time.
