CFT

  1. WODoers:

I really should have taken another day off, but I didn't. Felt great on deads, but then fatigue caught up with me.
    435 dead
155 press, should super tired from run
315 squat, don't know why I even bothered, so sore

I think I might have PR'd if I had taken another rest day but I had a morbid curiosity to see the side effect of the long run and short rest.

  2. Justin, you workhorse. Rest if you need to!

I can't really do the CFT right now, heavy shoulder press is out of the question. So I did my own thing, using the same moves, almost.

CFWUx2 with some ring dips and GHD action.

Then back squats, rowing, dealift, rowing. Sort of like a heavy lifting metcon combo

    BS 10X135
Row age (37) in calories (around 550M)
    BS 205x8
    Row age in calories
    BS 215x5
    Row age in calories
    BS 215x8

    Deadlift 205x10 (warmup)
    Row 500M
    Deadlift 305x5
    Row 500M
    Deadlifht 325x5
    Row 500M

Last two rows I was nauseous. Kept a strong pace too throughout... not much resting.

  3. Well since I knew I was going to suck it up on the CFT I decided to do something I wasn't going to suck at to boost my self esteem. After my lack luster total I decided to do a WOD that I saw on CrossFit Fire's training blog, and I feel much better now, even if it's for the worst.

    CFT

Jacob: Back Squat 280lbs, Shoulder Press 175lbs, Deadlift 380lbs, Total: 835lbs

    15 minute rest then...

15 Minute time limit to complete:
    1 Mile Run
    Max Burpee's
    * After 15 min. was up I ran another mile for time.

    Jacob
    Mile 1 5:38
    129 Burpee's
    Mile 2 6:38

Overall I was pleased with how I felt considering I did over 100 Burpees yesterday also. Need some work on the total though.

  4. No total here we should get our squat racks tommorrow. Did the amrap wod from a few days ago and got 10 rounds. Travis and I did put 40 stall mats in semi place which was fun. Our gym is getting closer
