30 muscle ups

  1. WODoers: Was really feeling Nancy in the shoulders. Not even close to a PR, so I experimented with a weighted backpack for reps 25 and 26, about 10 pounds. Couple of failures and a couple of successes. Then I added 25 pounds and no go, so back to no weight. TT:19:59 Then coffee break 1:03. Then five more for being so slow: 3:22.
    I think I underestimated how much work my shoulders did on Nancy, they were soooore today.

  4. Damn Justin, you are a workhorse. My jacked up shoulder could not handle Nancy. I have WOD'd five days straight and my body hurts, so I rest today, I'm sore all over. I am going to do HPC's and pullups and dips tomorrow AM before going on a 2 hour mtn bike ride with friends @ 9 AM. Today I rest, tomorrow I kick ass.

    Breakfast today: 2 scrambled eggs with a little cheese, 1 apple, some almond butter on the apples.

  6. Yeah I know, but I dont think I'm going to get any of that any time soon.

    I just got a call from my mom and her cat died today, so I have to be over at her house at 7AM tomorrow to not only dig a grave for her cat, but I also have to dig a second grave for her other cat that she's been keeping in the freezer since it died in December.

    Thank God she didn't do the same for my father when he died in January, or else I would have had a whole hell-of-a lot of digging to do tomorrow before I work out and then head into work.

    This has been one shitty year for all forms of life in my family and the streek just keeps continuing.

    ...and then there's my sleeping problem... but that's probably the least of my worries.

  8. Warmed up with jumping rope, cleans WOD, then this one with the 3:1 sub.

    90 PU's, 90 dips - 15 rounds of 6 PU's/6 dips

    TT = 21:16

    Arms were dead towards the end. I think the 4:1 sub would've about doubled my time. Have a good weekend fellas.

  9. Yo Dudes - Shoulder won't allow MU learning (when will it ever?). So the sub idea was 90 pullups and 90 ring dips. I did 70 of each and had to stop, it was really hurting my shoulder. TT = 12:25. Tomorrow I do the FIFTY.
