  1. WODoers:

Was super sore from last two days and I didn't want to wait for the gym to open so I created a slower and more painful version of Angie.
    100 L-ring pull ups= 19:08 Switch rings 1:43
    100 Ring push ups= 13:01
    100 Dyna sit ups= 8:29
    100 Dyna overhead squat= 6:13

    Total time=48:36

Nice, I bet I'm good and sore tomorrow for the day of rest. Had the rings set up about 6 inches off the ground for the pushups. They were really good, never done them before.

  2. Damn I did this before I saw the If you're feelinf froggy workout. Finished in 18:04 with a little left in the tank. Oh well

  3. Hung out with a friend from work and his wife this afternoon, so I didn't make it to the gym before it closed. Did this one at the house, and couldn't find a suitable pull-up sub.

    3/4 as Rx'ed - TT = 12:21
    Projected 18-19 minutess with pull-ups

Then, I went to the park and ran. Pukie was looking over my shoulder on the first loop. Felt better on the second loop.
    Jogged 1.5 km - 8:02
    Walked 0.5 km - untimed
    Jogged 1.5 km - 7:35

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Justin, but we have one more WOD in this round. Later fellas.

  4. First time doing this one, first time doing 100 pullups.
    Pullups: 18:04
    Pushups: 8:34
    AbMat Situps: 9:14
    Squats: 4:27
    Total: 40:19

No heroics, just Rx, except the AbMat, but I am guessing most use that anyway. Pull-ups getting better, but obviously they are my biggest weakness.

  5. Nice job fellas, way to work hard!

I had a reconstruction day, put a lot of work in on the bad ankle. Much stretching and Egoscue/meditation. Feel like I am put back together a bit. Needed a chill day and enjoyed it.

  6. Justin - I like your Froggy adaptation. One thing about CrossFit, if you have shoulder issues, you cannot do 70% of the WODs. Oh well....

For this WOD, well, I couldn't do it, I did my shoulder rehab work which took 25 minutes, it's a bunch of shoulder, bicep, tricep, and a little lat work.

Then later in the day I did tabata pushups (@ 3/4 depth, following my PT's instructions) and I sucked 14-14-14-14-12-12-12-10 then tabata Ab-Mat situps 12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12 then tabata rowing, got 850 meters, (that was killer by the way, never tried that), then did 50 more elevated pushups and 25 ring dips at 3/4 depth. I've lost some upper body strength with this shoulder thing. That Tabata pushups performance was quite disappointing. Need to get my strength back. Getting nuts snipped tomorrow, so another 10 days off. After that I need to crank it up for summer. I have a pool, gotta look good for the ladies. My two year old Luci has high expectations of her daddy!

Tomorrow (Tuesday) I am going to row a 10K before the surgery. That will be tough!
