Be strong like Rhino! This is from an African Safari my wife and I took 5 years ago. We were about 20 feet away from this dude who just got up from rolling around in the mud.

  1. No shoulder press max for me. I did body weight back squat x50 with 10 pushups and 5 dead hang pullups for every set.

    I'm not yet a really strong squatter, and I weigh 215, so the combo of these two factors was why I scaled back from 75 reps. Glutes and quads are really sore... ALREADY! What will tomorrow bring? Day 5 of no drinking, not a big deal really... I was tempted last night but I had a protien smoothie instead. It worked! Woke up at 5:30 with no alarm feeling energized and ready for the day. Sweet.

  2. Fletcher 5 days no drinking, sweet. Imagine what kind of freak you would turn into if you stopped drinking for good, drank protein smoothies every night, woke up every morning at 5 and worked your way up to completing every WOD as rxd. Just a thought to think about

    Did the same as Craig so he wouldn't feel left out. BW 195x50 Squats in 7 sets 10-5-8-5-5-7-10. Failed on a few sets, from form more than fatigue I think, so I had to unweight and re-rack the bar. My homemade spotter stands work well. Plus I took longer breaks. It was tough, 75 would be interesting. My time 28:1

  5. PS - Did this WOD barefoot. I think that helps actually, so I don't have to push down through the cushie of my shoes. More efficient power transfer? I'm gonna try to squat 300 soon. Should be able to do that???

    It's funny... drinking has always been a part of my life. I just want to minimize and control it, and take time off completely, and often. Like Weaver, you don't drink much... but you drink sometimes, and you are a machine! I also have a 2 1/2 year old that asks about it. "Daddy, can I have some beer?" Then I have to explain to her that it's only for adults... that makes me feel like an idiot. So I'll try to rarely drink around the kids. Before I know it my 6 month old son will be asking the same questions. Gotta lead the family the right way boys!

    Press: 155 hurting from Muscle Ups
    Squat: 335 hurting from deads
