Clean & Jerk 220lbs

Sorry about the poor centering on the film job. NEW PR 220lbs c&j. Goal is 250.

  2. RIGHT ON WEAVER!! Chris, this dude Travis (I grew up with him, turned me onto CF, it's how I "know" all these other blog dudes) weighs about 150 lbs!!! I don't know what my C and J PR is, but maybe, and only maybe could I match this. I actually don't think so actually. So what's that extra 65 lbs I have hanging off of my bones doing for me?

  3. Cardio day, not my favorite but this was fun. Warm up mile run to trailhead. In honor of yesterday being Australia Day, today's WOD is called "Outrun the Aussie". Gear required, trail running shoes, 1 stick approx 24", 1 Aussie Dog named Rocky. Objective throw the stick behind you down the trail, while dog goes to fetch the stick I sprint up hill in the snow (on trail but soft and melting so is like unpredictable sand). Finish sprinting uphill only when Aussie dog catches up to me. Approx 25 sprints total. Quads and glutes pumped and tired.

  5. Way to go Tornado on the PR, It sucks I'm trying to dig up my PR Clean and Jerk clip and can't seem to find it. Anyways, looking good.

    And Chris thanks man... I'm excited too.

    Just suck that I can't get any sleep lately, I've been up for the last 22 hours after doing the final to SoCal OC WOD's yesterday before I went in to the ED for a night shift.

    SoCal OC Throwdown WOD 3 (5:30PM)

    "Los Dos"

    5 rounds:
    45 sec AMRAP Deadlift, 225lbs
    Rest 15 sec
    45 sec AMRAP Burpees
    Rest 15 sec

    Total reps are athletes’ score. Burpees need to be done with an upright torso, no muted hips and a visible jump off the ground must occur.

    5 min max clean in lbs; rest 0 sec
    5 min Cindy CTB for total reps; rest 0 sec
    5 min row calories

    Total score = max 1RM weight lifted in lbs + total reps in 5 min Cindy + total cals in 5 min rowed (i.e. 285# + 240 reps (8 rounds) + 100 cals = score of 625 score)

    Jacob 590 Rx'd 1st Place (2nd 586)

    Clean 250lbs (PR)
    8 Rounds +15 CTB Cindy
    85 Calories Rowed

    Overall would have been 2nd place, Los Dos screwed me, but I'm happy I pounded out some PR's.
