20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats
Warning: Handstands can be extremely expensive!
This is a picture of me the day after doing a handstand on the end of a pool table then losing my balance and falling into the pool light that then came crashing down, broke and tore the felt on the pool table. $300 and two free drinks later I had purchased myself a piece of history (or at least new felt) in the Branding Iron Saloon, Garberville, CA.
That's funny shit Weaver!! Wish I could have been there to see that!

Wheels came off in round three, but then I put them back on for four and five by breaking the reps into bit size sets of ten, except for the squats, I just smoked all of them.

ReplyDeleteDid Barabara w/ 3 others (MAJ Cudney, CW2 King, WO1 Simons) this AM except there was no place to do pull ups. Just did 30, 40, 50 x 5. They are taking a liking to this, I think.

ReplyDeleteDudes, I went kayaking, 80 miles in two days. Sore ass, sore shoulders and arms from so much paddling. Rested yesterday and today. Back at it tomorrow, but have a little cold coming on too (again)... my kids get colds, then I get them.
Shoulder didn't get as beat to crap from all of that paddling as I thought it would, so that's good! My wife is starting to get into CrossFit too.. .awesome.
Back at the WOD again after the games qualifier. Vacation will take a guy out of the routine. Not that I have been sitting on my ass for a month but I am glad to be back at the WOD.

only 2min rest periods due to lack of time.
I am starting to do early morning cardio, to finish off the waist reduction initiative, these last few inches seem pretty stuborn. So I did 30 minutes of rowing in the AM, and got 6k on the dot. Then I did Barbara with the intention of getting a PR, cause last time I dogged on rnd 3 and 4. Maybe it was a combo of rowing and a week off last week, but I only got through 3 rounds, things started to go south on round 3. Times: 6:33,7:50,11:20 DNF.
