Navin R. Johnson letter about discovering his Special Purpose


Grandmother reading: My dear family, guess what. Today I found out what my special purpose is for. Gosh what a great time I had. I wish my whole family could have been here with me. Maybe some other time as I intend to do this a lot. Every chance I get. I think next week I'll be able to send some more money as I may have extra work. My friend Patty promised me a blow job. Your loving son, Navin. And he's got the kisses here.
Father: That Patty must be a sweet girl.

    Hit the 30 muscle ups again today. Feel like the muscle up is my special purpose lately. I used to dread it, and now I want to do it all the time. Unsure about my count by one,so it was either 11:46 or 12:11.

    Legs needed today off in the cycle, so this worked out good. Want to hit the total soon so I have good reference for distance training side effects. So far all the extra running and sprint work appears to be improving both my distance running and metcon at the same time. It will be interesting to see if it also improves raw strenth, cause if it does, I will see no reason to stop it.

  2. Dude Justin way to be. Yeah probably no total for me today seeing I have only hit a couple of wods in the past 2 weeks. I haven't decided what to do yet.

    Two rounds, of each couplet, for time of:
    750 meter Row
    20 Handstand Push-ups

    115 pound Thruster, 20 reps (Subbed 135lb Thruster)
    20 L-Pull-ups

    Total: 20:25 (135lb Thrusters)

    Didn't rest, went 2 rounds of one couplet right to the next. Don't know if this was how it was supposed to be done, but oh well.

    All HSPU were unbroken (the best I've done) and my rowing intervals were 2:38 and 2:50 (Damper 10 with 21 SPM, 270 watts avg.). The second couplet was a different story thrusters 7,6,5,2 then L-Pulls 8,7,5. Second round thrusters 7,5,3,3 then L-Pulls 7-6-3-2-2. All and all a good effort, I thought I would be closer to 25 minutes but I gave myself a time goal of 10min with each respective couplet and made up time in the begining. So next time should be a sub 20min effort.

    Feeling strong but feeling flabby after a whole week off while eating junkfood. Gotta get my groove back and hit it hard.
