  2. Hey dudes so we went for it. Final results travis out of 128 dudes travis 63rd and I got 31st. The first 2 workouts were tough and the bigger guys had the advantage no doubt. But it was all down to technique. Lots of failed lifts for my overhead lifts. Here is the play by play for wod 1. Row 500, 30 burpees, 10 165# shoulder to oh anyway. Travis off the rower first, Travis off the 30 burpees first, then came the 165lb anyway overhead, tough for a 150lb guy. As for me I was in the pack and came to the lifts and failed 6 total time before I got it all done Travis 6:54?, me 7:02 . Second wod max combined reps in 10 min of muscle ups and 185 cleans. Travis finished with 46 I finished with 66.
Somehow with a high second wod score I qualified 40th to move on to day 2. I had the first heat, it was raining go figure. 22 315# dl, run grab 2 45# dumbells and climb up a hill, get to the top 22 db thrusters, walk the dbs down 22 c-b wet pull ups, run about a quarter mile uphill get to the top 22 95# oh squats run to the bottom try not to eat shit, finished in 16:35 which stayed top time for a while, final standings on that wod was 4th place. Tons of fun all and all, just as expected lots of bad ass dudes. And some bad ass chicks. Thanks for the support guys we're gonna get some next year for sure. Oh and yeah I am fuckin sore as hell this morning, rest day for me please.
    Peace out

  4. Travis & Myles:

Great job guys! That was one brutal final WOD Myles. That is incredible to have the number 4 time on the final WDO.

  5. Great work you freaks. Myles, amazing job on day 2.... held top time for much of the day and got 4th best! Wow! I think going later has an advantage for the other guys... do they know what time they are shooting for, or are results not disclosed until the end? Work on those overheads and kick everyone's ass next year!

Weave, I still think it's "not fair" that a 150 lb dude has to lift the same as a 230 lb dude that could have lungs just as strong as yours, you really have no chance in those heavy types of WODs. Horsepoop I say.

  6. Way to go Myles and TW! Thanks for the play by play as well. Sounds like an asskicker.

Today's WOD felt like cheating after that last one.

    155/198/220/242 (1,2,f)/242 (1,f)/242 (F)

I was kicking really myself after I dropped my 3rd attempt on my first try at 242 because I didn't come anywhere close on my next two tries.

    Later fellas.

    Mike

  7. 165x3,175x3,185x3,195x3,205x3(pr)

Getting better at these. I let the bar roll back to my finger tips which helps keep my elbows up, but my wrists still kill me when I do these. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong?
